The Trophy Mountains are located in Wells Gray Provincial Park and have been made world famous for their one of a kind alpine wildflower meadows. A short 5km hike through the wildflowers brings you to the shore of Sheila Lake, a small alpine like, and the perfect place to basecamp your Trophy Mountain adventure. Dominating the landscape of of Clearwater, the gateway town to Wells Gray Provincial Park is Raft Peak. From town the mountain appears to end in a sharp pointy peak, but a short drive up Road 80 will give you a brand new perspective. Raft is a wide expansive mountain, home to some of British Columbia's best groomed snowmobile trails.
